Mike Miller: (18/01/00) The bar of the oldest University theatre in Britain (the world?). Only open when there's a performance going on that evening, but when there is it's generally open till midnight, which can't be a bad thing. Can get quite full with people coming out of the performances. Beer range is disappointing - lagers, and smoothflow Tetleys. But it's cheap and open late - so could be well worth a try.

Andrew Hollingsworth: This bar has the advantage of staying open very late on particular nights when there has been a production. If you can tolerate being surrounded by Thesps (don't worry, you do get used to it), this is a good place to round off a night's drinking. Never packed, usually good cheesy music playing, and nice prices. Go.
