The Fort St George

(properly The Fort St George In England)

Midsummer Common, Cambridge (01223) 354327

Current Average Rating : 6.3

Mike Miller: Very well sited with lots of outside seating offering a great view of the river. Unfortunately it's another (yes, another) Greene King pub so has the usual boring IPA and Abbot. And they had no decent lager or crisps when I visited.

Rating : 6

Andrew Hollingsworth: Nice location by the side of Midsummer Common and the river. Best for sitting outside on a summer's evening. Nice patriotic name. But inside has too many dubious locals.

Rating : 7 overall (but this should be broken up into 8 for outside and 6 for inside)

Richard Kastein: In the front is the bar and a TV and a pool table then there are two back rooms, one small and full, the other strangely big and empty. A fairly small range but nice to sit outside of in the summer by the River Cam.

Rating : 6
