Mike Miller: (21/07/98) A typical Greene King pub, average size, GK beers. No surprises then, but a reasonable place to shelter from the rain. We were tempted by the bar billiards but there were no rules, alas. Had a TV too. Unfortunately they didn't serve food at the times they said, so we moved back to The Old Spring, which was probably better anyway. Has an outside section by the Cam but it's across the road!! A poster proclaimed 'Make yours a Greene King local' to which a friend replied 'We haven't got much choice really, have we?!'

Richard Kastein: Close to the river but not riverside. Carpeted, reasonable. Showing World Cup football on our visit. Had bar billiards.
