Mike Miller: A large Beefeater pub and restaurant. The restaurant was booked up when we visited, but there was plenty of quite cheap bar food available; I ordered the Stella battered fish and chips and the fish was very large. Serve a decent range of beers; I had Pedigree. Unfortunately I was facing into the sun for a lot of the time, though I suppose this was my fault!

Richard Kastein: (06/09/98) My main complaint would be that the bar was wrappedin an unpleasant haze of smoke when we visited; also the sun was shining on us rather brightly. This is a Beefeater pub and there's a Beefeater restaurant at the back. Unfortunately this was fully booked on our visit and we had to eat in the bar where the menu was disappointing in its range.
