Mike Miller: (21/07/98) An extremely large Greene King pub, with great view of the Cam and of boaties, if you're so inclined. Nevertheless, visiting here on a very wet last day of the May Bumps will make it very hard to find a seat! When we did, we were put in rather a draught, whereupon a friend got up and closed the door every minute for an hour! Still, I'm sure it was an untypical day. They served nice-looking food and typical GK beer. I can imagine this is a very nice place on a good day, though being a boatie (or enjoying watching them!) probably helps.

Richard Kastein: A riverside pub out east so very hard to find a table during the May Bumps. Had a decent, or good range of beers. Had a TV when we visited - don't know if it was just for the World Cup.

Rating : 6.5
