This one has been closed in order to be turned into another McDonalds. This is a really poor decision, it's the only pub for a long way in any direction, and a lot of people live nearby. The pub closures on Newmarket Road in the last 10 years or so seem rather too many...
Mike Miller: (21/01/99) Large pub on lots of levels; lots of old people but a few young too around lunchtime. Not many beers - only really John Smiths. Reasonable pool table though - including rules, which made for interesting reading. The food looked very cheap though I got no indication of its quality. Not worth going so far out for though.
